Industrial Rectangular Connectors ILME rectangular connectors (sometimes referred to as multipoles) are used in electric and electronic machinery, control units, electric panels, control equipment and wherever connections are required for power or signaling circuits. These connector sets are available with a variety of inserts for handling small 3 position connection requirements or as many as 216 positions for high connection requirements. The electrical ratings can range from low communication signals (24VDC) to the higher power requirements (600VAC, 80amps) A variety of hoods and housings are available for protecting the contacts, as well as, providing protection in different environments. Standard Version This series has been developed for application in electric and electronic machinery, control units, electric panels, control equipment, industrial environment, and in general, wherever a sectional and reliable connection is required for power and signal circuits. Insulated 500V Version This series has allowances for inserts with rated voltage of 400 V and 500 V (CM and CMC series), The enclosure contains supplementary insulating strips inside. High Temperature Version This series has been developed for industrial applications where the ambient temperatures are particularly harsh (from -40C to +180 C). This version is distinguished by the red color of the enclosure. Special inserts made of self extinguishing thermoplastic material must be used with this series. Aggressive Environment Versions This version has been developed for industrial applications with particularly aggressive external agents (e.g. salt atmospheres or ambients, etc.) This version is distinguished by the green color of the enclosure EMC Versions This Version has been developed for industrial applications that require electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), in accordance with the European standards that regulate the emission and immunity of the equipment. This version is distinguished by the bronze color of the enclosure. New products are being continually added to expand the line into new and existing applications. |
