Monitech was formed in March 1992 to supply display solutions to the financial trading room market. During the next four years, we shipped over 40,000 displays, making Monitech a major supplier to one of the market's leading information providers. As a result of these efforts, we received supplier quality awards in 1993 and 1994. In September 1992 Monitech formed a supply relationship with Kent Modular Electronics (KME), a display manufacturer in Rochester, Kent, England. Utilizing KME's 25 years of serving UK and European-based customers, their ability to custom design and their broad range of CRT and flat panel displays, Teleline successfully serviced the financial market by providing over 10,000 units.

In 1996 KME offered Monitech exclusivity. By doing so, it broadened our marketing mandate to include all North American markets. Since that time, Monitech has successfully marketed and shipped product into the industrial, factory automation and process control markets. With increased demand and the need to shorten lead times, Monitech started manufacturing KME product in the fall of 1997. Since then, Monitech has manufactured and distributed more than 30,000 units for its North American customers.

In 1997 Monitech supplied its first industrial displays to the factory automation market by working with companies such as Xycom and Rockwell Automation.
1999 saw Monitech start to replace monitors in the process control market through the sale of monitors to customers using Honeywell & ABB equipment.
In 2003 Monitech established a North American Reseller Network throughout Canada and the United States.

Over the course of 12 years we have designed some 300 monitors and have produced more than 100,000 units for some 400 customers throughout North America.
