The 2053 "UNO" is Advantech's latest industrial Thin Client offering. Building on experience producing the 5820, this unit is faster (with a 300MHz CPU) and is capable of dual Ethernet support. Most impressive however is the innovative case design - due to a one-piece extruded design, the UNO has an extremely solid, low profile feel. The extremely compact EMI-protected aluminum housing also supports DIN-rail mounting. The UNO is completely interchangeable with any other ACP Enabled Thin Client, and is designed for environments that would be a challenge to most other industrial Thin Clients. The removal of any fans, hard disks and other moving parts means that the UNO has excellent anti-shock (50G), anti-vibration (2G w/CFC, 1G w/ HDD) and grounding features. As such, it is specially designed for harsh industrial environments. The unit is IP30 certified against dust, can operate in 0 ~ 55 C environments, and is CE certified. To organize an ADAM-5000 Ethernet I/O data acquisition & control system, you need to select I/O modules to interface the main unit with field devices or processes that you have previously determined. | 
| The ADAM-6000 digital input/output channels provide three operational modes, with each channel able to set its operational mode independently. The counter/frequency module offers two 32-bit counter channels and a built-in programmable timer for frequency measurement. The relay module offers six isolated digital input channels and six isolated relay channels. The analog input modules use microprocessor-controlled, high resolution, 16-bit, sigma-delta A/D converters to acquire sensor signals such as voltage, current, thermocouple or RTD. The ADAM-6500 is a fully functional web-enabled controller for industrial automation and control. It provides an ideal environment to develop applications converting RS-232/485 devices/equipment data to the Ethernet/Internet world with minimum efforts. |  |
