Adheres to the following safety requirements

• EN 954-1 safety-related controller parts meet/exceed Category 4.
• IEC 61508 functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable safety-related systems. Complies with SIL 3.
• EN 61496 safety of machines, proximity-type protective equipment. Complies with higher degrees of severity e.g. for mechanical vibrations or EMC.
• In addition, Canadian Press Code requirements have been fulfilled and integrated into the product functionality to achieve full compliance with CSA Z142-02 standard, thus meeting the PSR requirements of Sec. 7 of Reg. 851.

SIGUARD Two-Hand Operation Console

The 3SB386 Two-hand operating consoles are ideally suited for operation where, in order to prevent risk of injury, it is important to keep both hands of the operator away from hazardous areas. This is the case with presses.

SIGUARD Two-Hand Safety Relay

The 3TK2834 two-hand control relay is used in combination with the 3SB386 two hand console a device when the operator's hands are required to be on the two-hand control panel at the same time within a time window of 500 ms. These press control systems are ideal for controllers of excenter, hydraulic and fly presses up to Cat. 4 according to EN 954-1. Type III C according to EN 574 is also available especially for presses.
