SIGUARD Switch Strips

The SIGUARD Switch Strips protect against pinching or crushing on dangerous edges.  If the switch strip is actuated or if a fault occurs in the switch strip or connecting cables, the output circuit trips and the drive mechanism is halted. Even the slightest actuation changes the IR signal in the rubber profile and trigger the STOP signal.

The complete monitoring system is comprised of 3RG7855 Switch Strip and a 3RG7857 evaluation unit for a Category 4 approval according to EN954-1.

• Transmitter/Receiver Sensor Range is 0.5 - 10m
• Rubber Profile available in 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 m lengths
• Aluminum Mounting Channel is available in 1 and 2.5 m lengths
