The MVK family with IP67 protection was conceived specifically for heavy duty applications in a mechanical environment. The modules can be installed close to the sensors and actuators, this keeps the cable connections short and additional enclosures are not required.

The extensive use of LEDs on the module and over the field bus to the master facilitates commissioning of the system and fault location.
All outputs and sensor supplies are short circuit and overload protected.
All inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the field bus. The separate voltage connection from the bus interface and the I/O sector, enables an alarm output to be available.

MVK Metal (New!)

The demands placed on products in the field these days are often extreme. Aside from a of IP67 rating or better, requirements are increasingly for high vibration and shock resistance, but also for water proofing.

The new MVK Metal series meets these requirements. A one piece, die-cast housing with coated surface and compound-filled, it meets the highest demands in rugged surroundings. Due to the vibration resistance (vibration 15 g and shock 60 g), the MVK Metal is predestined for application under extreme environmental conditions. And you don't have to do without the single-channel diagnosis that is typical of MVK products. Overloading, sensor short circuits and cable breakage are monitored for each channel separately, and reported to the controller without affecting the neighbouring channels.

MVK Metal is available for Profibus DP and DeviceNet. In addition to an input module with Pin 2 diagnosis, it also has a freely parameterizable module, in which each channel can be configured individually as an input or an output, and that for both Pin 4 and Pin 2 of the socket.

Cube67 - Innovation in Distributed I/O

Cube67 is the most innovative IP67 protection I/O system for the most common field bus systems. The innovation is seen partly in a distributed, modular concept, partly in the new technologies such as multifunctional I/Os and the comprehensive diagnosis functionality.

Multifunctional I/Os, and the free parameterization of the plug positions, whether input, output or debugging input, give a maximum of flexibility. You can choose which plug position you need for an input or output, for 2 signals per M12 socket. Separate modules for inputs and outputs are no longer needed.

AS-I field bus for rough environments (IP 65)

The simple insulation-displacement connection of the flat cable speeds up the installation of the bus and supply cables.
