Integration of safety technology with SIGUARD or PROFIsafe:
PROFIsafe components support the reading in, processing and output of safety data through PROFIBUS DP in the same way as standard data. This enables "safe" and "unsafe" modules to be included in a mixed configuration and their data to be exchanged with the PLC over a common PROFIBUS DP bus line. PROFIsafe provides safety to Category 4 of EN 954-1.

ET 200is

ET 200L

SIMATIC ET 200L is the I/O station in postcard format with degree of protection IP20. It is used predominantly in the low-end performance range with few inputs/outputs. It is also ideal where space is restricted. In addition, it is characterized by an optimized price-performance ratio.

The compact ET 200L I/O station comprises a terminal and an electronics module. It is connected to the Profibus-DP fieldbus using the interface integrated into the electronics module. The ET 200L is a slave on Profibus-DP with data transfer rates up to 1.5 Mbit/s.

Two versions of the ET 200L are available:

As block I/O: not expandable
As modular I/O: expandable with SIMATIC Smart Connect (ET 200L-SC)

ET 200M

SIMATIC ET 200M is the modular I/O station for the control cabinet with high density-channel applications. The signal modules, communications processors and function modules of the SIMATIC S7-300 can be used. The Ex-analog HART input and output modules mean that the ET 200M is ideal for use in process engineering. Can also be used in connection with redundant systems (e.g. S7-400H). The maximum data transfer rate is 12 Mbit/s.

Their performance range encompasses the following features:

This cost-efficient digital block I/O enables cabinetless installation with IP67 protection right at the site of the process. Eco stands for "easy connection, easy commissioning and economical". Two connection systems are available: M12 and Ecofast.
