Benefits

The Sentient line of RFID solutions offers several unique advantages over optical data capture devices. It uses radio signals for sortation and/or distribution of RFID tagged objects. So no line of sight is required.

The radio signals also ensure an increased read rate in harsh environments. Bad weather, poor printing or other visual barriers do not impact Sentient RFID. Anti-collision algorithms increase efficiency by allowing reading of up to 50 tags simultaneously. RFID tags provide the added benefit of read and write capability.
