DEHNrail® Modular - Two pole pluggable Surge Arrester The new modular devices of the DEHNrail M product family impress the users with their high performance parameters and new clear Red/Line design. The device combines safety and easy handling in only one module to a convincing synergy. The low voltage protection level as well as the comprehensive protection against common-mode and differential-mode interferences are designed for protection of industrial terminal electronic devices in an optimal way. The design of the devices with input and output terminals for series connection and the protective circuit designed for high load currents underline this concept. Blitzductor®

The DEHNblitzductor XT of DEHN performs maximum protection for IT devices and systems, and has the highest lightning current discharge in its class. The combined lightning current and surge arrester BLITZDUCTOR XT consisting of a base part and SPD module proves to be particularly cost-effective. The Blitzductor XT offers effective protection for four active signal lines over a total width of only 12 mm. The universal base part can be used for any DEHN BLITZDUCTOR XT protective module. The protective modules are available for all kinds of systems.

In order to avoid that the pluggable SPD’s have to be removed for testing, the BLITZDUCTOR XT has an integrated LifeCheck in their protective modules which enable fast and easy testing of surge protection during operation. The SPD modules can be tested without causing downtimes of the system and without removing the modules. LifeCheck constantly controls the proper condition of the arrester which can be registered through the RFID technology of the DEHNrecord LC reader.

DEHNpatch®

DEHNpatch is the first patchcable with Surge Protection in Cat. 6 performance that can be used universally according to EN 50173 up to 48 V. Both existing applications in offices and industry like Gigabit Ethernet, ATM or ISDN and Voice over IP and Power over Ethernet can be protected. DEHNpacth can be used in shielded and unshielded networks. Up to 24 devices can be installed in one series and be integrated in a 19"rack corresponding the 24 RJ45 patch panel. The total length of DEHNpatch is 3 m (other lengths can be provided on request. DEHNpatch is simply plugged in between the patch panel and the active component instead of the conventional patch cable. The DIN rail-mountable supporting foot provides safe grounding. For single application, a piece of DIN rail with fixing device is included in delivery. A mounting set is also available as accessory for multiple application in 19" racks.
