Pre-Wired Sensor Cables with Quick 1/4 Turn Lock - MQ12In the field of M12 connections, Murrelektronik offers the MQ12 - a unique quick-lock 1/4 turn system that fits any sensor. The connector is mechanically fixed to the thread of any sensor or distribution box port by turning the locking mechanism clockwise by just a 1/4 turn, and an optical indicator shows that the connector is locked. Pre-Wired Sensor Cables for Food Industry - M12 Steel ...the unbreakableThe foodstuff industry places the highest requirements with regard to hygiene, cleanliness and corrosion protection on the products and components that it uses. That is why stainless steel is the material mainly used in plant for the manufacture of foods. With the M12 Steel, Murrelektronik has developed an M12 sensor plug connector that meets the stringent requirements of the foodstuffs industry. It conforms to protection classes IP68 and IP69K. The M12 Steel can be washed down with acidic and lye cleaning agents, and is corrosion-resistant. There are a large number of variants of the M12 Steel. In the quality of the cable, there is a choice between PVC and the foodstuff-compatible Santoprene ® 271. Sockets with open cable ends are available, as are connecting cables in lengths of 1.5 through 50 meters. |  |
Field Wireable Connectors (M8 & M12)Murrelektronik has a wide range of field wireable connectors that allows you to make the perfect length cable. They utilize insulation displacement technology (IDC) to reduce the time and effort needed to make cable connections compared to the traditional method of using screw terminals or soldering pins. They require no special tools or additional parts. Field personnel simply have to cut and strip the cable, slip it through the locknut and grommet, slide the individual conductors into the conductor separator by color code, then trim excess cable and reassemble the connector. The connectors are capable of handling up to 4-conductor cable. Contact is made with the conductors by screwing down the locknut. Once properly assembled, both the M12 and M8 IDC connectors maintain an IP67 rating.

It can be fitted close to the process by a fixed main cable or M23 plug connectors. The MVP12-M family also includes intelligent diagnostic distributors, fully shielded variants, distributors for nominal voltages up to 125 VAC/VDC, and ATEX-II 3 G/D approved variants. The shielded distribution boxes can be used to transmit analog signals, such as 4...20mA, or to connect digital signals in critical or noisy environments.
